Will Paul Finebaum Take To The Airwaves Today?

Paul Finebaum is a fixture in sports radio. It's no secret that Finebaum has been in a dispute with Cumulus Radio for sometime. Cumulus holds the contract on Finebaum....at least that was the case up until yesterday.
It appears the relationship has taken a new twist. During the last 24 hours, Finebaum's name and appearance has been removed from the WJOX-FM website which played home to the popular afternoon sports radio show. Finebaum's contract with the company that owns Birmingham's top sports radio station ended on Monday.
The two side originally were involved in a lawsuit but an agreement was reached several months ago. It's not clear if the agreement will keep Finebaum off Birmingham airwaves for what is believed to be about three months.
Also unclear in the whole matter is how will it impact stations that carry Finebaum outside of the Birmingham market. One of those stations is WOOF-AM here in Dothan. The station has not been told what is going to happen and may have to wait until 2:00 p.m. today to get their answer when the Finebaum show normally begins.
