Mr. Albert Edward Fox of Defuniak Springs, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. He was 63.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 20, in the Gaskin Pentecostal Church with Rev. John Hurley, Rev. Randall Bracewell and Rev. Ryan Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in the Gaskin Pentecostal Church Campground Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday, January 19, from 5 until 7 p.m.
Mr. Fox was born June 27, 1949, in Freeport, Florida to the late Walter Franklin and Opal Jane Harris Fox. He was a business owner in Defuniak Springs and he also served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Gaskin Pentecostal Church.
In addition to his parents, a son, Albert Marcus Mordicai Fox, a brother, George Marin Fox and a sister Mavis Lorene Roberts, all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Faye Nowling Fox, Defuniak Springs; one daughter, Genny Pearl Fox Lewis (Jeremy), Ponce de Leon; three grandchildren: Makayla Noelle Marie Fox (Punky), Jamison Dillon Lewis and Joshua Dalton Lewis; one sister, Iris Kathleen Fox; two brothers: Glen Elden Fox and James Harlan Fox, all of Defuniak Springs; a nephew, George Junior Fox (Marie); two great nephews, Michael and David Fox; other extended family and friends.
