Foster Motley

Mr. Foster Motley of Enterprise, AL passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 in Enterprise.  He was 76.

            Funeral services will be at 10 am Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Christ Community Church of God in Enterprise with Rev. Johnny Bryant, Rev. Tommy Davis and Rev. Billy Cardwell officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home Friday evening from 5 until 7 pm.  The body will be placed into the church one hour prior to service time.

            Mr. Motley was born November 30, 1936 in Coffee County, AL to the late John T. and Della Grimes Motley.  He was a member of Christ Community Church of God.  He loved God and his country and was a veteran of the US Army.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a wife, Geraldine Barrett Motley, brothers, Bud and Frank Motley, and sisters, Ouida Longsworth, Avie McIntosh and Mary Davis.

            Survivors include his wife, Ann Watkins Motley; daughters: Debby Hart (Grover), Evergreen, AL, Donna Moore (Bobby), Enterprise; sons, Larry Motley (Rhonda), Enterprise, Michael Watkins, Enterprise; grandchildren: Aubrey Dowayne Walters, Tangela Walters, Lori Motley, John Foster Motley, Holly Wilks (Clay), Jessica Watkins, Andrew Moore, Lillyann Watkins; 2 great-grandchildren: Caden Larson, Kale Calhoun; many nieces and nephews.
