Vickie Lee Jordan Lawrence

Ms. Vickie Lee Jordan Lawrence, age 53, a resident of Gordon, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at SAMC following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 in the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry Fullenton officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church (East) Cemetery, Gordon, with Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel prior to services. Flowers will be accepted.
Ms. Lawrence was born on April 16, 1959 in Donalsonville, GA the daughter of Norris Elton and Effie Lee Mathis Jordan. She graduated from Ashford High School in 1977 and worked as a packer at Wex Tex for several years. She was a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church (East).
Survivors include her parents, Norris and Effie Jordan, Gordon; one daughter, Victoria Lawrence (Thomas Adams), Pansey; one son, Jamie Lawrence (Kristi), Webb; three sisters, Rita Ward (Wayne), Cartersville, GA; Sonja Cureton (David), Cottonwood; Anita Murphree (Jimmy), Cowarts; one brother, Wayne Jordan, Gordon; five grandchildren - Eric Casteel, McKayla Adams, James Sasser, Haley Lawrence, Alyssa Lawrence; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Jimmy Murphree, Thomas Adams, Wayne Ward, Allen Dale, David Cureton and Rusty Jordan.
