We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Anthony "Tony" James Alexander, age 80, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Monday, January 8, 2013 at his residence.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2013 at 4:30 PM (CST) at Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery in Cowarts, AL.
Mr. Alexander was born in Chicago, IL April 1, 1932. He retired from the advertising field in which he excelled as a writer and published magazines. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He also loved his grandchildren and was of the Episcopal faith.
Mr. Alexander leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Dana Lietzan of Donalsonville, GA; sons, Douglas Alexander of Donalsonville, GA, James Kerr of Fairhope, AL; his aunt, Sara Alexander of San Francisco, CA; five grandchildren, Joanna Harrison, Heather Lietzan, Samantha Lietzan, Genesis Delgado, and Gabriella Delgado; well as 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson, Michael Delgado.
