Wanda Bruner DeTravlo

We announce the celebration of the life of Wanda Bruner DeTravlo who went to her home in Heaven on December 24, 2012 following an extended illness.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Taylor Road Baptist Church, Montgomery, AL with Pastor Andy Hepburn officiating. The family will be receiving friends after the service.

Wanda was born on September 15, 1960 in Okinawa, Japan the daughter of Bonnie Armstrong and the late Edwin C. Bruner.   She graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1978 and Troy University in 1982.  She worked for many years with Gaffers, American Book Company and NFIB.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Kyriakos DeTravlos.

She is survived by her husband, Andre DeTravlo and three children, Sofia, Alexander and Kyriakos; her mother, Bonnie Bruner Bryan (Johnny); mother-in-law Heleni Travlou; and a host of other family members and close friends.   

The family wishes to acknowledge the loving care given by Vista Care Hospice, friends and neighbors.
