Margaret Lorraine Childers Stewart

Mrs. Margaret Lorraine Childers Stewart, of Duck River, Tennessee, formerly of Blue Springs, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at her home in Duck River.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A. M. Saturday, December 22, 2012, in Peniel Baptist Church in Skipperville with Reverend Rusty Hutson and Reverend Jeff Dickey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.

Born August 1, 1946 in Barbour County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Childers and late Jenette Wilkerson. She married James T. Stewart, Jr. on January 2, 1968 and they had three children together. She was a dedicated homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her husband James, she is survived by her three children: Leigha (Tim) Newcomb of Chapel Hill, Troy Stewart of Columbia and Jessica Wells;  two sisters: Trucilla Robinson of Alabama and Kaye McHone of North Carolina. Six grandchildren also survive.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Peniel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2710 County Road 41, Skipperville, Alabama 36374.
