Lila Mae Martin Outlaw

Mrs. Lila Mae Martin Outlaw, age 88, of Ozark, died Monday, December 17, 2012, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Friday, December 21, 2012, from Westview Heights United Methodist Church with Reverend Russell Burleson officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.

Mrs. Outlaw was born December 30, 1923 in Newton, Alabama to the late Grandville E. and Lizzie Roberts Martin.  She worked for several years in the office of the Dale County Probate Judge.  Mrs. Outlaw was active in Westview Heights United Methodist Church and in the Newton Alumni Association.  She was a master gardener.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cullen Pearson Outlaw; her daughter, Christine Ziegler; and three brothers, Walter Thomas Martin, George William Martin, and William Martin.

Survivors include her son-in-law, Mike Ziegler of Ozark; one granddaughter, Emily Ziegler of Ozark; and one sister, Mary Lee Woodall of Newnan, Georgia.
