Hazel A. Poore

Hazel A. Poore, a resident of Enterprise formerly of Quincy, Florida, died early Friday afternoon, December 14, 2012, at the home of her daughter in Enterprise. She was 80.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. (E.D.T.) Monday, December 17, 2012 in the Chapel of Independent Funeral Home, Quincy, Florida. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home in Quincy. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Poore was a native of Cottondale, Florida, and was a long time resident of Quincy before moving to Enterprise. She was the daughter of the late Willie Rabon and Linnie Mae Cardwell Gainey. Mrs. Poore was a homemaker who loved her family and she attended the Santa Clara Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Poore.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Patricia L. Cawley and husband, James Lamar; a son, Thomas W. Poore, Sr., all of Enterprise; son-in-law, Francis Raker, Crawfordville, FL; sister, Mary Hill, Quincy, FL; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
