Two Dead After Overnight Shooting In Pike County

Two people are dead after an overnight shooting in Pike County.

The Troy Messenger is reporting that it happened at a home on Highway 125 outside of Burndidge in the Tarentum community.

Police responded to the shooting call shortly after 7:30 p.m. according to Pike County Sheriff Russell Thomas. When they arrived, the found a man dead in the home and another man dead in the yard.

There were four additional people in the home at the time of the shooting.

The identities of the two dead have not been given at this time.
