Alma Cooper Ausley

Mrs. Alma Cooper Ausley of the Lytle Community passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Wiregrass Medical Center in Geneva. She was 95. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2012 at MT. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the Church on Sunday starting  at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Ausley was born in Ganer, AL on June 18, 1917 to the late Tup R. and Dora Burkett Cooper. Mrs. Alma was a Homemaker. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Wymack Ausley; Five brothers and one sister. 

She is survived by one son, Farold Ausley (Linda) of Samson; two grandchildren, Julie Pulley (Garrell) of Samson and Jim Ausley (T.J) of Guntersville, AL; six great grandchildren, Caleb and Emily Pulley, Gray, Jack, Luke, and Annabel Ausley; two sisters-in-law, Juanita and Ruby Cooper both of Montgomery, AL; one brother-in-law, Jack Jones of Samson, and several nieces and nephews.
