Mary Iris Helton Rogers

Mary Iris Helton Rogers, a resident of Dothan, died early Wednesday morning, December 12, 2012, at her home. She was 92.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 14, 2012, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Chaplain Tim Stevenson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Friday at the mortuary in Headland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, AL 36303.
Mrs. Rogers was born and reared in Henry County, daughter of the late James Helton and Mamie Campbell Helton. She lived in Dothan most of her adult lifetime. Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Judson Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Randall Helton Bradley, a sister, Lucille Armstrong, and two brothers, Roy Helton and James Robert Helton.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Jean Armstrong, Marianna, FL; and Iris Jeanette D'Errico, Dothan; two sons, Ronald Bradley and wife, Pat, Albany, GA; and Bruce Bradley and wife, Elise, Montgomery; two sisters, Thelma Volf and husband, Joel, Capps Community; and Verna Mae Boyette, Dothan; a brother-in-law, Robert Armstrong, Abbeville; thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
