Roy Saxon Wallace

Mr. Roy Saxon Wallace of Dothan passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012, at his residence. He was 91.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Johnny Fain and Reverend Bob Gross officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Rd. Dothan, Al 36303.
Mr. Wallace was a member of First Baptist Church, Dothan. He loved singing and was a former Minister of Music at Wayside Baptist Church in Ashford, AL. He was the Director of the Good News Singers at Balboa Heights Baptist Church, Panama Canal Zone. He also enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and several of his siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Wallace of Dothan; sons, Randy Wallace of Beaufort, S.C.; Steve Wallace and his wife, Sheila of Dothan; sister, Elizabeth Lawley of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Jared Wallace of Birmingham; Tyler and Kristen Wallace of Dothan; and several nieces and nephews.
