Searcy Manning

Searcy Manning passed away at home on Wednesday, December 5, 2012.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Chaplain Phillip Durr officiating. Burial will follow with Searcy Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alacare Hospice, 3379 West Main Street, Dothan, AL 36305.
Born October 27, 1939, Searcy was the son of the late Louie and Gertrude Manning and was a lifelong resident of Enterprise. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandra Brunson Manning, their son, Adam Keith Manning, and brother, Bob Manning.
He is survived by sisters-in-law Diana Haire (Wayne) of Headland, AL, Carole Rainwater (Ken) of Charlotte, NC, and Ramona Byrd (Lloyd) of Dothan, AL, grandsons, Jeremy and Josh Manning, one aunt, Pauline Manning, and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Alacare Hospice, especially Teresa, Juanita, Heather and Phillip, for their loving care and kindness during Searcy's illness.
