Maria Erica Moore

Maria Erica Moore, 47, of Daleville, Alabama left this world to be with the Lord on December 6, 2012.
She is survived by her husband, Ken "Woody" Wood; her parents, Roy and Erika Moore; her sister, Cassandra Moore; her brother, Roy Moore, II; her nephews and niece, Adrian, Caterina, and Erik Fittro; and her son Kenny Wood, Jr.
Maria was born July 8, 1965 in Annapolis, Maryland and was raised in Mannheim, Germany. She moved to the Wiregrass Area in 1984 and worked at the Ft. Rucker Commissary. She was very compassionate, patriotic, a wonderful friend to all, the world's best daughter, sister, aunt, and wife. She loved Facebook, bargain shopping, and going to church. She will be remembered by all for her love and compassion for all people.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am on Monday, December 10, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1152 W. Main St., Dothan, AL, 36303.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Glover, Adrian Fittro, Erik Fittro, Roy Moore, I, Roy Moore, II, and Connie Williams.
