The Tennessee football team announced Friday that Cincinnati coach Butch Jones would be the Vols new head coach.

Jones, who agreed to a six-year contract worth $18.2 million, takes over a Vols team that has suffered three straight losing seasons for the first time since 1909-11.

In three years with the Bearcats, the team posted a 23-14 record.
