Joe Earl Yeager, a resident of Kinsey, died Sunday night, December 2, 2012. He was 70.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 8, 2012, in the Webb Cemetery with Reverend Jerome Harbert officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Webb Cemetery Fund, c/o Lamar Ivey, 3051 Enon Road, Webb, AL 36376.
Joe Yeager was born in Sweetwater, Alabama, and was reared in Houston County, between Kinsey and Webb, where he lived most of his lifetime. He was formerly employed as a police officer with the City of Auburn Police Department. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, James Gordon Yeager and Virginia Wade Yeager, his step-mother, Mona Yeager, and a brother, James M. Yeager.
Surviving relatives include two brothers, Jack Yeager and wife, Lorrie, Greenville, SC; and John Yeager and wife, Starla, Kinsey; a sister-in-law, Patsy Yeager, Prattville, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
