Ofelia Simmons

Mrs. Ofelia Simmons of Samson, Alabama, formerly of Ocoee, Florida, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012. She was 73.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 20, at the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home in Winter Garden, Florida beginning at 12 noon EST and continue until service time at 2:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. EST, in the chapel of Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Ocoee City Cemetery in Ocoee, Florida.
The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva, Alabama Sunday, November 18, from 3 until 5 p.m.
Mrs. Simmons was born July 19, 1939, in Texas to the late Manuel and Celia Munoz. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Geneva, Alabama.
In addition to her parents a son, James Simmons, Jr. preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, James Hubert Simmons, Sr., Samson; three daughters: Virginia Dyal (Keith), Samson, Gail Jenkins (Sonny), Winter Garden, FL, Diana Gable (Jeffrey), Ocoee, FL; two sons: Jeffrey Simmons, Ocoee, FL, Mark Simmons (Jennifer), Samson; one brother, Manuel Munoz, Jr., Kingsville, TX; one sister, Yolanda Zepeda, Georgewest, TX; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and other extended family.
