Mrs. Mernette Lewis White of Hartford passed away
Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Flowers Hospital.
She was 89.
Funeral services will be
held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Hillburn Stanley officiating.
Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells
Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive
friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00
p.m.
Mrs. White was born on June 24, 1923 in Hartford, AL to
the late William Green Lewis and Verbie Mills
Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two
children: Earl and Edward Bradshaw, one
great grandson, two sisters and one
brother.
Survivors include three daughters: Nadine Bradshaw Sheehan of Chipley, Sarah
Adame (Pete Anderson) of Hartford, Sharon Gilbert (Rick) of Sheboygan, WI; five
sons: Wallace Bradshaw (Lillian) of
Chipley, FL, Jerry White (Nelle) of Punta Gorda, FL, Larry White of Montgomery,
Terry White (Sheila Burnsed) of Hartford, Ricky White (Priscilla Hutto) of Ft
Myers, FL; three sisters: MaryJo
Scurlock (Gene) of Lynn Haven, FL, Juanita Nipper of Napa Valley, CA, Barbara
Hicks of Phoenix City, AL; 23 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 3 great
grandchildren; and many others that called her
"Granny."
