Cora V. Revels

Mrs. Cora V. Revels of Clayhatchee, AL passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in Hartford Health Care.  She was 86.

            Funeral services will be at 10 am on Friday, October 19, 2012 in the Sorrells Funeral Home chapel in Enterprise with Rev. Chad Hixson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery in Clayhatchee.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4 until 8 pm.

            Mrs. Revels was born June 1, 1926 in Dale County, AL to the late Allen and Cora Bryan Brunson.  She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Revels, 3 brothers: Frank, Floyd and Burel Brunson; and 2 sisters: Mary Godwin and Irma Ragland.

            Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine J. and Tom Catenacci of Enterprise, AL; 2 grandchildren: Barlyn Holland and Jeannie Baldwin; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
