Larry Tubbs has decided to step down as Post 12 Manager after 15 seasons, five state championships, two American Legion World Series appearances and 642 wins.

Jon McLain, who coached the 17-under Post 12 Junior club to two state titles in the past three years, will take over for Tubbs.

Tubbs said he had contemplated this move for about a month and made his final decision on Sunday night.

He said he will remain with the team in some capacity.
