Arkansas Coach Under Attack On Social Media

After two tough losses in as many weeks, many die-hard Razorback fans are using social media to express their frustration. As of now, the brunt of that frustration appears to be directed towards head coach John L. Smith.

At some point during the Saturday's game against Alabama, a Facebook page labeled "Fire John L. Smith" had roughly 5,000 fans. By 8 p.m. Saturday evening, more than 10,000 people had liked the page.

"Smith is a special teams coach," wrote Scott Taylor. "He had no business running the show. We gotta get shed of him as fast as we can!"

"He's only got a 10-month contract! He will be gone after this season," wrote Michelle Thurman Morkrid. "I just feel bad for these boys playing their hearts out!"

Others defends the head hog saying the circumstances were stacked against him.

"I don't see how it's John L Smiths fault we are losing," wrote Sherry Irons. "He got started in what May? Just because the players don't know how to play when they get on the field is not his fault!"
