Four years after supporting Barack Obama, former Alabama Congressman Artur Davis endorsed Mitt Romney at the Republican convention in Tampa Tuesday night.

Davis switched party affiliation from Democrat to Republican this year, two years after a failed bid for Alabama Governor.

In 2008, he addressed Democratic delegates at their convention in Denver.

Davis began his speech Tuesday by referencing that other convention.

Davis's party crossover is not sitting well with his former Democratic colleagues in the Congressional Black Caucus.

They released a letter Tuesday blasting Davis for supporting Romney.
