A routine traffic stop lead to what could be the largest drug bust in Houston County history.

Houston County Deputy Michelle Brunson made a stop on Stateline Road on Thursday afternoon when she found a suspect wanted for more than speeding.

Deputy Brunson and Houston County investigators then raided the home of the suspect, located on 75 Clover Street in Gordon where they found hundreds of marijuana plants inside.

The Sherriff is not releasing the exact number, but each plant is said to be about $2000.

We are told more details including the suspects name will come out Friday.
