Lines wrapped around the building and traffic was backed up on Ross Clark Circle for over three miles.

Customers like Ron Hollimon said today's traffic could only be compared to what he refers to as the

busiest time on the roads...Gameday in the South.

Today, however he is not headed to a football game, but simply out to Chick-Fil-A for lunch.

The lunch outing may have taken a little longer than usual, but for the thousands that turned out, today was about much more than a chicken sandwich.

Chick-Fil-A has received a lot of attention from the media after the stance their CEO Dan Cathy took on same-sex marriage and today customers wanted to show their support.
