Weekend Crash Claims The Life Of An Ashford Man

A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Ashford man and injured four others. The crash occurred at 6:40 p.m. Saturday on Pansey Road east of Ashford.

Jamey Lee Livingston, 31, was driving a 1996 Ford minivan when he lost control, ran off the road and overturned. Livingston, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. 

One adult and three minor children who were passengers in the van were transported to Southeast Alabama Medical Center  where they were treated for their injuries and released.

No other information is available at this time as troopers continue to investigate.
