Jennie Distasio of Daleville, AL, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, at her home in Daleville. She was 49.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Endrihs officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3:00PM until service time. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Linda Andress, PO Box 310900, Enterprise, AL 36331.
Mrs. Distasio was preceded in death by her parents, Naomi and Leroy Wallace.

Distasio, Cincinnati, OH; son, MSG Joseph Distasio (Chasity), Glenwood, IA; 2 sisters, Sabra Fisher (Larry), Winfield, KS, Joyce Cancel, Daleville, AL; 2 Brothers, Marty Wallace (Kathy), Arkansas, KS, Jeff Wallace (Margaret), Winfield, KS; grandson, Christopher N. Peralta; grand-daughter, Adalyn P. Palmer.
