On May 17, 2012 The Dothan Police Department released a video to our community in hopes of identifying a man wanted for burglary.

Police had gotten the video that morning after responded to a commercial burglary at Dakota Coffee Works located at 277 West Main Street. Upon arrival, police learned the business had been broken into between the close of business the previous night and opening that morning.

Although the surveillance camera captured clear photographs of the suspect committing the burglary, investigators received no information regarding the identity of the suspect.

On June 20, 2012 The Dothan Police Department responded to a second commercial burglary at Dakota Coffee Works located at 277 West Main Street. Upon arrival, police learned the business had once again been broken into between the close of business the previous night and opening that morning.

Surveillance camera captured clear photographs that show the same suspect from the May 17 incident was also responsible for the latest burglary. The new photographs provided what police are calling highly identifiable marks including pictures which depict a "Yin and Yang" tattoo on the inner right forearm, and a large cross on the left forearm.

On June 26, 2012 Investigators sharing photographs were surprised to see photographs of what is believed to be the same man wanted in connection with at least two additional commercial burglaries in Dothan. Those investigations are ongoing at this time and investigators have not yet released those locations.

Investigators say that identifying and apprehending this man is important to protect commercial establishments from being further victimized. A reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this burglar is being offered through CRIME$TOPPERS and Dakota Coffee Works. Police are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the suspect to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.
