By: Stephen Crews
Updated: June 26, 2012
Tropical storm Debby is raising concerns about the blood supply in the southeast.

LifeSouth blood services says that injuries associated with the storm have left the blood supply in some areas at critically low levels.

LifeSouth is now asking people to donate blood to help get the blood supply back-up.

You can go online to find your nearest blood donation center.  LifeSouth's web site is www.lifesouth.org, or you can find the American Red Cross at www.redcross.org.
