Local
businesses have teamed up with Family & MWR to bring awareness to
the Never Forgotten Card program and
Survivor Outreach Services (SOS). SOS provides support and assistance
for Families of fallen service members by providing compassionate
advocacy services, using available Army and external resources.
The
Never Forgotten Card is just one step to continue that support. The
Never Forgotten Card program includes
everyday benefits, providing an extra discount at participating
businesses. The card is provided to Survivors in recognition of their
sacrifices. It demonstrates the community's commitment to provide
quality programs and services to enhance Survivors' quality
of life. The card is offered to spouses, children, parents and siblings
(18 years and younger) of fallen service members. Survivors are issued
Never Forgotten photo ID cards thru the Fort Rucker Survivor Outreach
Services (SOS).
As
awareness of the program has grown, local businesses have inquired as
how they, too, can be a
part of this program. To participate in the program with discounts
available to Survivors businesses can now register with Fort Rucker
Family & MWR.
Businesses interested in supporting the program should complete the Business Registry Application
available at http://www.ftruckermwr.com/never-forgotten-card/
and return via email to janice.m.erdlitz@us.army.mil or fax to
(334)255-1874. Applicants will be notified within five business days and
upon approval will be issued a window decal to be displayed as a symbol
of support identifying your business as a Never Forgotten
Card business participant.
For more information on how businesses can be a part of the Never Forgotten Card program contact
Fort Rucker Family & MWR, Janice Erdlitz, Marketing Director at 255-2292, email janice.m.erdlitz@us.army.mil or visit http://www.ftruckermwr.com/never-forgotten-card/

Participation in this program does not imply Army endorsement and is not part of the Family & MWR
Sponsorship or Advertising program.
