Mozelle Alston Reynolds

Mozelle Alston Reynolds, a resident of Wichita, Kansas and a former resident of Abbeville, Alabama, widow of Ralph J. Reynolds, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 in the Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. She was 89.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, June 23, 2012 in the Abbeville United Methodist Church with Reverend Robert C. Yawn and Reverend Steven Gregg officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. in the Abbeville United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Abbeville United Methodist Church, P.O Box 100, Abbeville, Alabama, 36310.
Mrs. Reynolds was born and reared in Marianna, Florida, daughter of the late Joseph Claude Alston and Claudia Velma Allen Alston. She lived in Abbeville from 1977 until March of 2012 when she moved to Wichita, Kansas. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the Abbeville United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir. She was formerly employed by Buster's IGA in Abbeville. Mrs. Reynolds is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Jackson Reynolds.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Patricia (Tish) Fisher Monrovia, California; three sons, Michael Haddock, Huntington Beach, California; Marc Patton, Tustin, California, Gregory (Kip) Patton and wife, Elaine, Wichita, Kansas; two step-daughters, Marilyn Skipper and husband, Don; Nancy Reynolds; and a step-son, Jack Reynolds, all of Abbeville; two sisters, Barbara Skipper, Abbeville, Betty Standland, Quincy, Florida; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren
