Celia Walden Evans, a resident of Ashford died Monday, June 11, 2012. She was 80.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, June 15, 2012, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tom Skeen officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 P.M. Thursday, June 14, 2012. Flowers will be accepted.
Mrs. Evans was a longtime member of the Ashford United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Simon in 2008.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Johnston, one granddaughter, Holli Elizabeth Johnston, both of Dothan; one first cousin, Gayle Chadek and her husband, Tom of Cottonwood; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
