Sarah Maxie Cheshire of Chancellor, AL passed away, Monday, June 11, 2012 at her home. She was 96.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Don Tew officiating. Burial will follow with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
Mrs. Cheshire was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Edward Cheshire, her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Karol Nichols; Janice Kay Chancellor, both of Chancellor, AL; three sons, Edward Lloyd Cheshire, Chancellor; Larry Max Cheshire, Hartford, AL; Thomas Leon Cheshire, Dothan, AL; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
