Mrs. Virginia Williams of Enterprise, AL passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in Enterprise.She was 98.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday, May 31 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend Hollis Bradley officiating.Burial will follow in the Damascus Baptist Church cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1 until 2 pm.
Mrs. Williams was born May 9, 1914 in Savannah, GA.She was of the Baptist faith.She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Williams, mother, Violet Boutwell, brother, K.C. Boutwell, 2 sons, Jimmy Williams and Jack Williams, a grandson, Mark Meriweather.
Survivors include 3 sons: Johnny Williams, Moultrie, GA, James C. Williams, Rexmont, PA, Jerry Williams, New Brockton, AL; 3 daughters: Inez Meriweather, Mary White, Sue Pouncey, all of Enterprise, AL; 1 sister, Frances Wilson, Dothan, AL; 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
