Janice Bostick Trammell

Janice Bostick Trammell,a resident of the Capps community in Henry County, died Sunday afternoon, May 27, 2012, at her home. She was 78.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Lyle Peluso officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery-East. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the mortuary.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Friends of the Wiregrass, c/o People's South Bank, 2861 John D. Odom Road, Dothan, AL. 36303.
Mrs. Trammell was born and reared in the Tolbert community of Henry County, daughter of the late Emanuel Bostick and Mary Flossie Roney Bostick. She lived in various locations in the United States while her husband served in the U. S. Navy. Mrs. Trammell moved to the Capps community in 1971. She was a member of the Tolbert Baptist Church. Mrs. Trammell was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Carl Trammell and three brothers, Ed Bostick, James Bostick and John Robert Bostick.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Leland D. Trammell, Capps community; a daughter, Linda Strickland, Rehobeth; a son, Tony Trammell and wife, Deborah, Midland City; two sisters, Dovie Ethridge, Enterprise; Martha Trammell and husband, Tommy, Dothan; four grandchildren, April Trammell, Shannon Trammell, Sharon Bowling and Michael Strickland; five great-grandchildren, Jacen Trammell, Toni Trammell, Jayden Britton, Justice Bowling and Presley Bowling.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Jackie Bostick, Mixon Bowling, Keith Trammell, Jon Murphy, Michael DeShazo and Michael Blankenship.
