Ariton Man Charged In January Murder

A suspect has been arrested in the January murder of Willie David Pugh from Clio. 

The Barbour County Sheriff's Office has arrested 41-year-old Willie James Dickerson, Jr. of Ariton. Dickerson is charged with capital murder in Pugh's death.

Dickerson was already being held in the Houston County Jail on separate charges.

Pugh's body was found January 24-th off of Sutton Dairy Rd. after he had been missing for over a week.

An autopsy confirmed Pugh died from stab wounds and blunt force trauma.
