Washington County Fire Destroys Two Mobile Homes

According to the Florida Forest Service, a wildfire in Washington County has destroyed two mobile homes.

Brian Goddin, Wildfire Mitigation Specialist and Public Information Officer with the FFS says that the Washington County fire is off Highway 77 near Rolling Pines Road.

In addition, another wildfire has burned 35 acres or more on the Bay County-Calhoun County line near McGill Road, near the south end of Scott's Ferry Road.
