2012 Parade Of Homes Shows Craftsmanship Of Local Builders

The Home Builders Association of Dothan & the Wiregrass Area will feature more than 30 beautiful homes in the 2012Parade of Homes, May 11 - 13.  The popular annual event showcases the superb craftsmanship and design of area home builders, suppliers and trade contractors.  The Parade is a highly anticipated event each year, drawing hundreds of people for its home tours.

"This is the best opportunity for people of Dothan and the surrounding area to see the wide selection of houses built to fit the tastes and needs of those who choose to live in this beautiful part of Alabama," said Gina Grant, 1st Vice-President and Parade Chairman.  "This is the paramount event for local builders each year, and we invite everyone to tour the outstanding, high-quality homes created by members of our professional organization."

A ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, May 11 at 11 a.m. launches the Parade of Homes at this year's showcase house at 111 Berwick Court in the Highland Manor Subdivision located off of Brannon Stand Road.  Homes will be open for tours on the following dates and times:

Friday, May 11, 11 am - 6 pm

Saturday, May 12, 10 am - 6 pm

Sunday, May 13, 1 pm - 6 pm

The 2012 Parade of Homes Magazine will be available the week of the Parade at The Dothan Eagle and The Dothan Progress, the Dothan Association of Realtors, and the Dothan Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The Home Builders Association of Dothan & the Wiregrass Area has since 1956 served as the central agency representing the interests and standards of builders and subcontractors in the Wiregrass Area.  The Association's 370 members build an average of 200 houses annually, and they dedicate themselves to the highest quality and service in their profession and as citizens.
