Man Arrested For Running Meth Lab Out Of Hotel

Dothan Police have arrested a man on charges he operated a Meth lab out of a room at Inntown Suites.
Christopher Shane Hutton, 38, of Clearmont Drive was taken into custody Sunday night and accused of First Degree Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance, First Degree Criminal Mischief, and Second Degree Arson.
Police Sgt. Rachel David said the meth lab was discovered after a fire broke out in the room at the Ross Clark Circle hotel. The establishment specializes long term rentals. David speculates Hutton was operating the lab in the hotel because they are dangerous and he likely wanted to keep it out of his house.
