Mr. Dell was a lifelong resident of the Sylvan Grove community of Dale County, son of the late William Bartow Dell and Blanche Irene Thompson Dell. He was a member of the Sylvan Grove United Methodist Church and was retired as a farmer.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Edith Lindsay Dell, Midland City; two daughters, Wanda Bowden and husband, Bruce, Ozark; Lindsay Denise Dell, Birmingham; three grandchildren, Jason Braswell and wife, Teresa, Starr Folger and husband, Ken, Adam Braswell and fiance', Lori Weathington; three great-grandchildren, Ava Grace Braswell, Kallen Shaver and Faith Shaver; several step-great-grandchildren.
