Police: Up To Six Men Rob Store In Dothan

Dothan police are looking for up to six people in connection a Saturday night reported armed robbery of a discount store. Dollar General, located at Montgomery Highway near North Cherokee Avenue, was held-up about 9:00 pm.
Initial reports indicated four people, armed with at least one gun, were involved. Later reports indicated that number could be as many as six. No store employees are believed to have been hurt.
The first police unit arrived in less than two minutes after the call went out from dispatchers. An abandoned car was quickly found near Azalea Tennis and Swim Club but it is not believed to have been involved in the robbery.
