This year, 65 players were named to the prestigious group. The Outland Trophy goes annually to the nation's top interior lineman. Both sides of the ball are considered for the award.
In the history of the Crimson Tide, two players have taken home the trophy and both went on to the NFL, Chris Samuels in 1999 and Andre Smith in 2008.
Last season, Wisconsin offensive tackle Gabe Carimi took home the award.
Two veterans on Alabama's offensive line have been named to the 2011 Outland Trophy watch list.
