Auburn University Sees Increase In Applicants

The effects of the BCS national championship title are still showing at Auburn University.
The national attention has more than 18,000 looking to become tigers in the fall.
The university is seeing an increase in the number of undergraduate applications.
University recruitment says strong academics, scholarship packages and recruitment across the country are also driving numbers up.
Auburn is not necessarily increasing the number of acceptance letter it sends out, though.
It expects to accept about 12,000 students for the incoming freshman class.
