The Salvation Army is warning donors to be on the look out for donations to The Salvation Army's Relief efforts in Japan.
The email is claiming to be from "Salvation Army National Corp.," urges donors to send a donation to an email address which is not a valid Salvation Army address.
The email uses official Salvation Army language to convince the donor the email is real. The Salvation Army warns donor it does not solicit for donations regarding Japan right now.
There are four ways people can contribute money to The Salvation Army's disaster relief efforts in Japan:
-Text The words "Japan" or "Quake" to 80888 to make a $10 donation
-By phone: 1-800-SAL-ARMY
-Online at: https://donate.salvationarmyusa.org
-By mail: Send your check, marked "Japan Earthquake relief" to
