Police in Memphis say they've captured two escaped inmates wanted for a deadly carjacking.

The victim's body was found in Alabama. Police say Darian Pierce and Ricky Wedgeworth carjacked the Ohio man in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

David Michael Cupps' body was found behind a Bessemer hotel last week. Police initially thought the suspects may have fled through Georgia.

The men were caught near Memphis Monday night after they crashed a stolen car and tried to run away. The stolen vehicle was a government truck taken from two workers in a park.
