Arkansas Fires Head Coach John Pelphrey After Four Years

The SEC has it's first coaching casualty of the year. Arkansas fired John Pelphrey on Sunday, after four years with the program.
The Razorbacks failed to make the NCAA Tournament in each of the past three seasons. Not surprisingly, the team's attendance at Bud Walton Arena has also dropped dramatically during that span.
Pelphrey posted a 69-59 record during his four-year tenure, including an 18-13 mark this season. Missouri's Mike Anderson and Marquette's Buzz Williams are considered early candidates to replace Pelphrey.
