Cam Newton and Nick Fairley sparked Auburn's run to the BCS Championship. On Tuesday, Newton and Fairley stepped on the field at Jordan-Hare Stadium for the final time, trying to prove they could do the same thing for an NFL franchise.

Auburn held it's annual Pro Day, giving 22 players the chance to work out in front of NFL scouts. Nearly 250 scouts and NFL personnel watched the Tigers run, jump, go through drills and, in Newton's case, throw.

Fairley and Newton are both projected as first round picks, and could go first overall to Carolina next month. Tigers defensive back Demond Washington made one of the biggest impressions on Tuesday, running a 4.3 in the 40-yard dash.
