Police say a man possibly made a threat to an employee at Opp Elementary school. That led to a two hour lockdown at Opp's elementary, middle school and high schools Monday.
Investigators say the call to lockdown the schools was made because the man who allegedly made the threat was believed to have a gun.
Police identify the suspect as Christopher Kip Jacobs. We're told he is related to the school employee who was threatened. Police say he was out of jail on bond pending domestic violence charges.
An unarmed Jacobs was arrested about a half-mile from the campus. He has not been charged related to the threat but his bond on the domestic case was revoked.
