Wallace Softball Team Sweeps Double Header From Enterprise State

Courtney Cherry homered and drove in three runs, leading Wallace past Enterprise State 4-3 in game one of a Southern Division double header on Monday. The Lady Govs completed the double header sweep with a 3-0 win in the nightcap.
Cherry got Wallace on the board in the first inning of game one, singling home Kassi Shackleford. The Lady Govs added to the lead later in the inning, on Shine Huwe's r.b.i. single, bringing home Cherry.
Enterprise State rebounded in the top of the second inning, scoring three runs. Wallace pulled ahead for good on Cherry's two-run homer in the bottom of the second inning.
