The Carroll High School Football Team has a new head coach. The Dothan Eagle reports Stacey Watters has replaced Chad Lapp, who was fired after one season with the Eagles.

Watters has previous stops at Sumter County, where he was the head coach, plus Twiggs County in Georgia and Linden in Alabama as an assistant. He takes over a team that went 1-9 last season, and hasn't reached the playoffs since 2005.
